Who is responsible
Yume is operated for its private Discord community by Nerds Incorporated. Questions, requests, or concerns about personal information can be sent to the server owner or authorised Yume staff through the official Yume Discord server.
This policy covers the Yume website, Vault, the protected owner dashboard, and connected private community workflows. G94 Music operates as a separate public bot and publishes its own privacy information at g94music.xyz/privacy.
Information Yume handles
Depending on the features you use, Yume may process:
- Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, server membership, roles, and invite information.
- Levels, birthdays, economy balances, inventories, cooldowns, quests, game records, and community participation.
- Messages, attachments, direct-message threads, applications, tickets, and support requests where a feature needs them.
- Moderation cases, evidence, sanctions, appeals, and service restrictions.
- Protected dashboard sessions, security events, audit records, and hashed network or device signals used to prevent unauthorised access.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide requested Vault features, maintain persistent games and rewards, personalise member services, respond to support, enforce community rules, investigate abuse, protect accounts, recover from deployments, and understand whether systems are working correctly.
The lawful basis depends on the feature. Yume generally relies on legitimate interests in operating and safeguarding the private community, consent for optional information or support workflows, and legal obligations where they apply.
Sensitive and support information
Yume does not require members to disclose health or wellbeing information. If a member chooses to include sensitive information in a private support conversation, it is used only to provide the requested response, support safety review, and maintain the restricted conversation for its stated period.
Private means hidden from ordinary members. The owner or specifically authorised staff may still access information where required for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, or service quality.
Sharing and service providers
Information is not sold. It may be processed by Discord and by infrastructure providers that host Yume's applications, databases, files, and security services. Optional AI features may send the submitted prompt and necessary conversation context to the configured AI provider when that feature is used.
Providers may process information in other countries. Yume uses established providers and relies on the transfer safeguards and contractual protections made available for their services.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose:
- Temporary support context may expire after its configured retention period.
- Completed games and counting history are generally removed after about 90 days.
- Closed inbox messages, resolved safety reports, authentication events, and administrative audit records may be retained for up to 365 days.
- Persistent settings, moderation history, levels, birthdays, balances, inventories, and service restrictions remain while needed to operate the community, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet a valid deletion request.
Backups and queued deletion jobs may take additional time to cycle out securely.
Automated processing
Vault may use automated rules to validate community interactions, enforce cooldowns, block prohibited links, detect account age, protect voice connections, limit access, or temporarily restrict suspicious activity. These systems support community operations and safety.
Significant moderation outcomes can be reviewed by authorised staff, and available appeal or review routes remain open where the community process provides them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and the reason information is processed, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent for optional processing.
Send a request to the server owner or authorised Yume staff. Identity may need to be verified before protected information is disclosed or changed. UK members may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies, security, and updates
The public website does not use advertising cookies. The protected Vault dashboard uses essential signed cookies for login sessions, request protection, and account security. These are required for the dashboard to work.
Yume uses access controls, hashed security signals, audit records, restricted permissions, and encrypted connections where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security, so suspected exposure should be reported promptly.
This policy may change as Yume's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest revision date appears at the top of the page.
